There is very good verve to the utterly delicious and slightly finer medium weight flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the balanced and harmonious finish

but the finesse and precision here surpasses all the preceding vintages

which features a very strong note of cloves and smoke

The palate is quite sweet and candied, with an almost Port like undercurrent towards the finish. This is an odd Pinot Noir that feels just a little overbaked. Neal Martin
