The piece has an upturned rim, a little bowl like. The underside of the plate is marked with the Royal Copenhagen crown mark along with three blue waves, the pattern number 711, the shape number 9434 and the artists initials of mel+. The bar under the letter n in Denmark dates the manufacture of the piece to 1957. The
