The back of the bowl is engraved with the year 1904. It is marked Sterling S at the back bottom handle, which is the mark for the Shepard Mfg company of Melrose, MA.. The spoon measures 5 3 4 in length and weighs 40 grams. The spoon is in very good condition with no noted wear. Wonderful
