People often identify this plate as being by Meissen, but being unable to access the underside, I cannot ascribe this to Meissen. The handled metal pan housing that would hold water has a small hole in it (see close up photo), so the dish cannot be used as intended you would have to have this patched somehow in order to use it as a warming dish. In addition, there is wear to the
