Art Deco 1930s Carstens Uffrecht Basket German Bauhaus Pottery envelope set This 1960s leopard print dressThis is a rare pottery basket made by Carstens Uffrecht of Germany. Founded in 1900, Carstens Uffrecht is known for the Bauhaus influenced pottery that they produced during the 1930s. This basket is made in an oblong shape that is indented in its middle. It has its original rattan handle that is secured onto the pottery basket with brass rings (see close up photo). The piece is hand painted unglazed and finished in colours of lime green, orange,
