Barbeito, Madeira Boal Single Cask 48 & 84 other_regions_australia The Ultreia bottling that calledThe 2001 Boal Colheita Casks 48 & 84 was apparently a coincidence in life, since the two casks actually rested side by side, the former gentle and the latter more concentrated. Bottled in June 2009 (a run of 1,722 bottles), the nose has improved since I last tasted it in April 2010. It has attractive transparency and finesse with gentle aromas of dried honey, quince, lavender, hazelnut and lanolin all beautifully defined. The palate is one of texture
